Hairball, Fort Pierre, SD

Fort Pierre, South Dakota's Silver Spur Bar and Restaurant has created an annual summer tradition with outdoor concerts held right beside the Bad River in this historic cowtown. On June 15, 2018 Hairball and local favorites The Sidehackers rocked a large crowd on a beautiful evening.

Cheap Trick, Deadwood, SD

Cheap Trick rocked the Deadwood Jam on September 16, 2017. The legendary band performed all the hits and some new songs on a night so cold I could see their breath. It was a great show for a guitar fan, with Rick Neilsen playing numerous custom axes from his gigantic collection. I've seen Cheap Trick several times over the years and never been disappointed.

Little Texas, Rapid City, SD

I've been friends with the guys in Little Texas for a number of years now. Every time I can catch a show I have a great conversation with them. This show was at Main Street Square in Rapid City, South Dakota during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on August 10, 2017.

The square was overflowing with people loving the band's rocking country sound. It's always fun to hear all kinds of rock hits blended with Little Texas' big hits from the 90s. I recall ZZ Top, Van Halen, the Eagles, and Grand Funk Railroad during this show.

Hairball, Fort Pierre, SD

The Silver Spur bar in Fort Pierre, South Dakota puts on several concerts each summer on the banks of the confluence of the Bad and Missouri Rivers. Hairball performed their arena rock tribute show on June 10, 2017 for a large crowd and several members of the Central South Dakota Photography Club.
