Here's one of the greatest country performers of recent times. Seems like Garth is always on the verge of announcing that he's ready for a comeback from retirement. As of this writing, these pictures are from his last big full-blown tour, with multiple night stands in most places. This is October 3, 1997, which was I believe one of five nights in Rapid City. He also did something like 6 shows in 5 days in Sioux Falls.

This funky spaceship-looking thing is the drum capsule. It rose out of the stage and spun around, and yes that's Garth laying on top of it.
