Prince memorial, Minneapolis, MN

I happened to be in the neighborhood of the First Avenue nightclub in downtown Minneapolis on the morning after musician Prince died. Thousands had gathered in the street the night before and roughly 100 were still milling around and taking pictures at 5:30 am.

I captured a few pictures of the makeshift memorial that had formed around the star with his name painted on the wall of First Ave.
