The Outer Vibe, Pierre, SD

I've been following The Outer Vibe online for a few years now after I discovered they had been recording videos and social media posts around western South Dakota. Although the band hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan, in recent years they have been hanging around South Dakota quite a bit.

So when I discovered they were playing in Pierre just a few miles from my house on August 20, 2016 I was excited to be able to finally see and meet them. They are a friendly bunch of hippies with a fun infectious sound.

See? I even spotted a Wooden Legs Brewing Co. sticker from the Brookings beer joint on a road case. These guys seriously love South Dakota!
