Here Come The Mummies, a crazy group out of Nashville, are back in South Dakota this week performing at Jazzfest in Sioux Falls so I thought it time to finally dig out my shots from last year's Central States Fair in Rapid City and unleash them on the public.
This group is made up of fairly-well known musicians who keep their mummy identities anonymous and play a dance/jazz/mummy style of music that is a far cry from what they probably do in their "day jobs." Rumors were floating around backstage at this show that one of them was actually Garth Brooks, although I can't confirm that. All I know is they were a lot of fun.
Here Come the Mummies will take the Jazzfest stage on Thursday night, the first of three nights of great music for free in Yankton Trail Park in southern Sioux Falls.
