Hairball, Sioux Falls, SD

Kicking off what promises to be an epic new concert series for Sioux Falls, Hairball and special guests christened the brand new stage at Badlands Pawn on November 28, 2015.

I spent the afternoon before the show hanging with the band and enjoying their dressing room antics.

While a pawn shop may seem an odd concert venue, this place is more like a concert venue that also serves as a pawn shop/deli/radio station/gold foundry/gun shooting range/nationwide concert box office and more. It will be interesting to see how Badlands Pawn evolves over the next few years.

Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Chainsaw Caine and Ron Keel sat in with the band at times throughout the night. Pictures of those guys are in a separate post

Badlands Pawn will be holding a concert every Thursday night starting in January 2016 with nationally-known acts. The Badlands House Band, lead by Ron Keel, will be performing periodically as well and summer concerts will also be held at Badlands Motor Speedway in Brandon. Lots of music headed to the Sioux Falls area!
