Brule, Mitchell, SD

Brule is another of South Dakota's premier bands. The unusual blend of rock, New Age and Native American music is very unique and their stage shows are extreme visual performance at it's best. Where else can you see a beautiful native woman playing the wildest flute since Jethro Tull backed by a member of the American Indian Movement on a huge tribal drum and a keyboard player that looks a lot like Alice Cooper?

These pictures were taken on the grounds of the Prehistoric Indian Village in Mitchell, South Dakota on June 30, 2007.

Check out the band and leader Paul LaRoche's unusual story at www.brulerecords.com.
