.38 Special, Deadwood's Historic Main Street

Deadwood, South Dakota's Historic Main Street is used as a concert venue during several events throughout the year. This one is .38 Special during Wild Bill Days in 2005.

I posted a picture of Donnie Van Zant at this concert a while back here.

The combination of an authentic Old West town, classic rock and roll, and beer sales on the street always brings out large crowds. Here's the view from one of the apartments above Main Street's casinos.

And the view from the stage.

You can check out the happenings in Deadwood for this year here.

.38 Special is scheduled to play on August 4, 2009 at the Broken Spoke Campground outside of Sturgis during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
